Mantis Motion Labs is a research-driven safety and innovation company focused on the future of micro-mobility. Our work centers on the riders who move through cities, neighborhoods, campuses, and delivery routes using e-bikes, e-scooters, and other personal electric transportation.

What We Do
Mantis Motion Labs studies real-world rider challenges and turns those insights into safety-focused product concepts. We focus on visibility, rear awareness, rider signaling, smart accessories, wearable safety, and connected device ideas that can support safer movement.
Our concepts are designed around the way riders actually move — through traffic, near vehicles, around pedestrians, across uneven roads, and under time pressure.
Why It Matters
Micro-mobility is growing fast, but safety technology has not kept up with the way riders are using these devices. E-bike and scooter riders often share space with larger vehicles, distracted drivers, poor road conditions, low visibility, and unpredictable traffic patterns.
Delivery riders face even more pressure. They often ride during peak traffic, bad weather, night hours, and tight delivery windows. These conditions create real safety risks that deserve better tools, better data, and better design.
